CLA Global Becomes a Member of the Forum of Firms
Today, CLA Global Limited (CLA Global), a leading international organization comprised of independent accounting and advisory firms is pleased to announce that the network has become a member of the Forum of Firms.
The Forum of Firms is an independent association of international networks of firms that have transnational audit appointments or are interested in accepting such appointments. The Forum of Firms’ public interest objective is to assist the users of financial statements by promoting consistent and high-quality standards of financial reporting and auditing practices worldwide.
Membership of the Forum of Firms benefits CLA Global by supporting audit quality through the following activities:
- Identifying audit practice issues and engaging with relevant standard-setting boards in support of high quality international standards.
- Providing a forum to further promote advancement in quality management, auditing, independence, and training and continuing professional development.
- Facilitating interaction across the audit quality ecosystem, including regulators, financial institutions, and other stakeholders on matters related to audit quality, systems of quality management, and transparency within international networks—all in the public interest.
